Whether you've never touched a tool in your life or are just starting out, Jim will guide you through a fun and relaxed exploration of the basic tools and techniques of woodworking. Have a specific interest? Jim can also tailor your time to explore your specific interests and you'll have plenty of opportunity to ask your questions. (No specific projects created)

  • Introduction to the table saw, miter saw, planer, bandsaw, router and sander
    with hands-on opportunities.

  • Measuring tips and tricks so you can make the right cut every time.

  • Learn basic wood joining techniques like biscuit, mortise & tenon and pocket holes.

  • See how to select the right wood for your future projects.

  • Customize some topics to your needs.
     

Cost: $195 *

*For the budget c0ncerned, ask me about an accelerated 90-minute version. After payment, you'll have 6 months to identify a date and complete your workshop. Eye and ear protection required during hands-on. You'll be provided all the relevant safety equipment.
